Celebrating 30 years of Nervous Records and Club Shelter in the Lab LDN
An icon of dance music since 1991, when he started his legendary Club Shelter events in New York City, Timmy Regisford has helped to pioneer the soulful house music sound that has influenced the current face of house music.The Shelter opened its doors following the closing of Paradise Garage and became a sanctuary for people to express themselves in which race and sexual orientation did not matter.

He has held various high profile positions in all areas of the music industry, having been A&R Director of Atlantic Records, Vice President of A&R at Motown Records, Vice President of A&R at Dreamworks Records and being credited for remix projects of music legends including The Boys, Diana Ross, Gerald Alston and Stevie Wonder.

This year marks 30 years of Nervous Records and 30 years of his Shelter brand. Recently, Timmy has produced sold out parties in New York, and has released a series of acclaimed compilations on Nervous Records entitled ‘Soulful Respect’.
