About Paul Johnson:
Paul Leighton Johnson was born and raised in the birthplace of House Music, Paul Johnson has released a vast amount of music for some of the most consistently underground dance labels before hooking up with Peacefrog Records. 12″ releases on the likes of Cajual Records / Relief Records and Dance Mania led to his debut album release “Bump Talkin'” in 1996. This and the follow up “Feel The Music” became two of the most talked about releases of their time. His remix work for Stacy Kidd, Joey Beltram, Green Velvet, Armando, Ce Ce Peniston, Ron Trent, K-Alexi, and Steve Poindexter made its way into all the big jocks boxes, many of which remain there to this day.

About The Residency with Seth Troxler:
Over the course of the month, Detroit DJ and producer Seth Troxler will showcase a world renowned lineup of guests that are iconic legends who have shaped dance music history, combined with the next generation of talent, all who have influenced him over the years. Prior to each session, there will be introduction discussions where Seth Troxler and guests will go back to the history and roots of techno and house music, followed by DJ sets from pioneers and legends Tony Humphries, Ron Trent, Stacey Hotwaxx Hale, Paul Johnson, as well as rising artists, Channel Tres, DJ Holographic and many more.
Each week, prior to the DJ sets, Seth Troxler and his guests will have a discussion, reflecting on history, influences and important records that helped shape moments and movements. Post-discussion it’s a musical history lesson conducted by a diverse group of progenitors of the genre and newcomers who hail from the cultural hubs of Brooklyn, Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles.
