We join Never Dull at W1 Curates Studios in London to break down some of the techniques he uses on his chart-topping disco-house productions.
Born and raised in San Diego, Never Dull mixes his Mexican American heritage with the Californian vibes he has always known to produce his energising, groovy, disco house sound.
Never Dull shares the approaches to sample selection and manipulation that have become a trademark for him, alongside running through some of his favourite plug-ins and effects, and diving deep into his arrangement process, in a unique insight into his production process.
Beat from Scratch is a unique insight into an artist’s creative process in the studio. Starting from a blank session, each artist builds a track from scratch in their own style, exploring everything from drum and synth programming to mixing, arrangement and more.
