Mixmag links with Death Becomes Us festival for the event’s launch party in Brooklyn, celebrating the iconic NYC Club Kids which served as the backdrop to the true crime film Party Monster.
The party will be headlined with a live stream featuring legendary NYC DJ and producer Jellybean Benitez along with support from Mixmag Allstars.
Aptly dubbed Opening Party (Monster), the event will take place on March 20 at Schimanski’s intimate side room Bar Schimmi. 90s rave costumes are strongly suggested.
Death Becomes Us is a roaming true crime film festival that brings together true crime experts and pop culture creators to showcase panels, exhibitions, film screenings, podcasts and various events. The festival takes place March 2 0- 24 at locations throughout NYC.
