Nowadays, DJs can easily separate drums, melodies and vocals in their tracks, either when DJing or before a set. In this video, the legend Jazzy Jeff explains three ways he’s been using stems recently, to inspire you to do the same in your DJ sets.
Stems are built in to Algoriddim’s djay Pro AI for Mac and iPhone/iPad, and Virtual DJ for Mac and Windows. The most DJ-friendly app for separating stems ahead of time for your music is Algoriddim’s Neural Mix Pro AI.
