Experiencing abundant Africa, meeting brothers and sisters who speak my native language in Mozambique, and being able to play music in a national park where there is so much care for environmental preservation made me reflect on the impact of our existence.

The disconnection with the natural world makes us bait entangled in the invisible webs of a digital reality, oblivious to the place where we truly reside: the planet through our bodies. When we open our eyes to the life that surrounds us, we awaken to the abundance of human fullness.

In presence, we can hear the secrets whispered by the majestic trees, guardians of time, which teach us patience, resilience, and the beauty of growing in silence with the wisdom of nurturing roots. The waters of the rivers that flow into the sea mirror our quest for purpose and direction, but when polluted, we cloud our own reflection, forgetting that their purity is also ours.

The animals, cohabitants of this vast home, live in harmony with their surroundings, showing us the value of instinct, care, loyalty, and the strength of community. A small bird dedicated to building its nest reminds us that home is a sacred refuge. The wise nature that resides within us has all the answers for us to thrive as a species; we just need to silence ourselves to listen. In the pursuit of progress, there is no room in an overstimulated mind to perceive that true evolution comes from respect and preservation.

Nature does not need us to live, but we need it to survive. Each lost species, each burned forest, each contaminated river is a cry for help that we ignore, a lesson we choose not to learn. Perhaps, in a not-so-distant future, we will find wisdom in the eyes of animals and understand that humility is the key to coexistence.

We are just a note in an eternal symphony, and our greatest masterpiece is to preserve the melody of life. In this return to essence, we will rediscover our humanity. We will see that we are not above but intertwined with every living being in this dance.

With much love and teamwork, we accomplished this project. I would like to extend my immense gratitude for the incredible production by Nextage and Spicy Malagueta, who made this dream come true. To the Maputo National Park, which opened its doors for us to execute all this and showed us the work behind maintaining the balance to preserve the species of fauna and flora present there. To the Montebelo Milibangalala Hotel, which welcomed us within the park so that we could have the immersive experience of the encounter between the savannah and the ocean.

Much love s2
