Going head to head in the Lab Johannesburg we have SA artists Caiiro – a DJ, producer, and remix guru – alongside self-taught producer and Black Coffee protégé Enoo Napa.
Mpumalanga’s Caiiro takes influence from his travels around the globe leaving him with a taste for sub-Saharan sounds, Afro-house, and deep, techy productions. His latest production efforts have seen him release the 22-track record ‘Pyramids’.
Enoo Napa – otherwise known as Siphiwe Mkhize – took up production in 2013 where he formed an ear for dark, synth-led Afro-tech, later catching the eye of Black Coffee. The producer went on to work with the heavyweight creating earworms and going back to back alongside fellow South African stars.
