After two years of cancellations, Detroit’s biggest electronic music event is planning its return for next year.
Movement — one of the world’s longest-running and most-esteemed festivals celebrating techno music — will hit Hart Plaza  during its traditional Memorial Day weekend slot, May 28-30.
The downtown party was sidelined the past two years amid the pandemic.
Artists and other details haven’t yet been announced, but fest producer Paxahau said Monday that info will be released soon.
Movement, a tradition that launched in 2000 as the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, last played Hart Plaza in 2019, when Disclosure, Orbital and Griz performed as headliners.
