In this video tutorial our instructor Boris takes a look into a melodic progressive house track produced by Julian from Bound to Divide. We take a look at the harmony of the bass and melodies. We start by making the groovy bass, and then proceed onto adding layers of melodies. We make the top melody notes and mid melody which juxtaposes it rhythmically. In this way we create complex structures that sound big without adding in complicated harmony. Let’s get started!
