808 State are the legendary UK electronic music outfit formed in 1988 in Manchester, taking their name from the Roland TR-808 drum machine and the “state of mind” shared by the members. Nina Kraviz invited them to show why they are still so highly regarded, playing live at her GALAXIID party last year at London’s Printworks.
