The theme song from the second season of the anthology series, which aired its finale on December 11th, has created quite the cultural buzz on its way to becoming a sleeper hit. It constantly trends on TikTok, inspires hilarious Jennifer Coolidge memes and even found its way to real-life music festivals.
"It’s really unexpected," the song's Emmy-winning composer, Cristobal Tapia de Veer, told BuzzFeed. "Unlike producing the stuff for a band or my own record, this is never the intent for a show. It’s always about serving the show and not thinking really about a stand-alone hit or single or anything like that. So it’s kind of the cherry on top."
